So... who is Alex Herzog Ed.D.?

Alex’s career has taken various roles on campuses of all scopes and sizes including community colleges, universities, and military bases. His past titles include Director of Campus One Card, Director of Student Activities, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, Residence Hall Director / Activity Specialist, and U.S. Army Drill Sergeant. He currently serves as the Dean of Students at the College of Eastern Utah. He supports his own endeavors in higher education through education with an A.A. from Adirondack Community College, a B.A. in Labor Relations from SUNY College at Potsdam, an M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana State University, an officer’s commission from the U.S. Army, and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

When not on campus, he consults commercial and non profit organizations and prepares high school and first-year college students on how to drive their own education. With several trips into the Grand Canyon under his belt and hundreds of mountains climbed, Alex is rarely caught without a destination.

Alex is a dynamic speaker that has spoken to audiences throughout the world. Alex has been motivating students and professionals to achieve their goals and dreams for over ten years.
